Leake

Chapman

They both tap dance around a specific number now, but I swear when
spring training broke I saw an article somewhere with the specific
150-165 number for Leake and they said they'd be similar with
Chapman, but I can't find the article now.

I think alot of that is tied to poor performances against the A.L.
during the interleague portions of the schedule. The injuries seem to
mount up at about that time. So far, we're really only missing
Dickerson and everyone else is at 90+%.

The schedule looks fairly soft for the next couple weeks. The Reds
have to make some serious hay during that time. Then the schedule gets
brutal in June and stays that way through the all-star game. Theres a
west coast road trip to seattle and oakland. Just before the break is
a very long trip to wrigley, nyc and philly. thats the real test.

Well, i think if we have shot at the postseason come september, and
its possible this year, then all of that long-term thinking has to be
scrapped. But otherwise, yes, dont rack up the innings on those guys
if the club aint gonna win anyway.

The thing is, they have an opportunity to skip him on Saturday because
of today's off-day. You can't do that with the way he's pitching, so
I wonder what the plan is moving forward.
