It's like someone literally just flipped a switch with these guys. This starting pitching is night and day compared to what they looked like in April. Of course, the pessimist in me can't help but note that it's still the Pirates. Bailey looked awesome against them last year, too.

Bailey looked awesome against them last year, too. Seems like they all have great location when they're playing with a comfortable lead. 5 in a row now. Gotta take 2/3 from the Cardinals.

The other thing I think he needs to do is throw inside more so guys can't get on top the dish and crush his pitches away like they've been doing to him before this afternoon's game. >Time of the game.....2 hours 19 minutes. > >A gem on the heels of the masterpiece by Cueto. > >No walks by Cueto or Bailey. > >Sweet! Yep. The April sweep is avenged and then some! They outscored the Pirates 16-1 in this series. Brewers are getting their asses kicked by the Braves. Scrubs and Florida are tied but Silva's still on the mound, the Marlins haven't had a shot at that bullpen yet. I'm not holding my breath waiting for any help from the Astros against the Cardinals later tonight but if they do get that it'll ice the cake. Five in a row, with the Redbirds coming to town on Wednesday. Five in a row. Hope they don't lose their momentum with the off day tomorrow! JK
