The first game I saw live I could not believe my eyes at the routes he was taking to fly balls. We've seen some marginal center fielders here by the river but the virus' makes WMP look good. Seriously, if they had sent a scout to watch this fellow play the outfield and they still signed him, then the evaluator needs to be fired. Whatever he does with the bat (or without it) is just an added penalty. He belongs in center field about as much as Kal Daniels and it's obvious the first time you see him take off after a fly ball. Whenever I start to feel encouraged about the direction the reds are headed, I remind myself that either Jocketty or Baker WANTED this guy on their roster and they are both still employed by my favorite team. dfs

I think that clinches my case that the Reds could've had a winning season this year with a different manager. I can't imagine Mackanin running Willy out there game after game.

Defensively I am listening on the radio most of the time so I can't really say anything about that. I am in no way arguing that Willy T should be a part of future plans but I hope they can salvage something out of him.
