I would like to thank Andre ethier's wife for giving birth
during this series. Especially during a series where we
were quite limited in lefty relief options. Thank you Mrs.
Ethier.

And tonight the Bums will be out for blood against the Pads. Pretty
much a win-win situation from where I stand. If the Bums win the the
Giants have a chance to advance on the Pads for Division title, and if
the Pads win the the Dodgers are pushed further into the dirt.

If the Bum beat the Pads, the Giants pick up 1/2 a game. They'll off
due to travel to play the Rocks in Colorado. The Giants seem to be
relentless now. It's a muich different team from last year, even the
first half of this year.

I'm not getting too excited just yet. This team has a history of
dashing hopes....

Tonite is one night I'm glad I have my MLB.TV account--Dodgers/Padres
will be on. I just wish there was a way that both teams could lose.
