I was hoping for something like *direct* loses for both teams for each game of the series. But because of how the rules are written that is impossible. <g> I'm watching the game right now....Dodger offensive woes seems to be continuing....runners on 1st and 2nd with one out and they couldn't even advance the runners. Oh well, even if the Padres win at least it will be one more shovel full of dirt on the Dodger's chances. -jon rossen

Technically, I think at this point we'd probably prefer the Dodgers to sweep the Padres so that the Giants could gain ground on the Padres (ignoring the fact that for all I know, the Padres could be going on a long losing streak and the Dodgers on a long winning streak in the near future). -- Greg Lentz |
