The Rose Award goes to Starlin Castro of the Chicago Cubs, who went
two-for-five with six RBI and scored one run in a 14-7 win over the
Cincinnati Reds.

Castro hit a three-run homer in his first at-bat, and, with the six
RBIs, established a modern-era baseball record for a player making his
major league debut.
