You do realize that Phillips won't talk to either one of the two beat writers
that regularly covers the Reds?

Yes, So you think they're all out to get him?

I knew he got all offended that one of them talked to some other guys
during spring training before he talked to Brandon.

I didn't know about the other one.

You know, the funny thing is that Votto pretty much said the same thing
about the Cubs during the all star break and everybody treats it all
light and "he's such a competitor."

Phillips has put himself in a position where he'll never catch a break.

Votto did not call the Cubs derogatory names. There's a difference
between saying you don't like the Cubs vs. saying "I hate the
Cardinals and they're all whiny bitches." You don't have to like your
opponents but there's a limit.

I don't know about Hal, but you can hear the venom in Fay's voice when
he talks about him, and he's written several unprofessional bordeline
child with his thumb-in-the-mouth articles about him since their spat.

He's definitely holding a grudge in my estimation.
