From: HTP on 4 Dec 2009 16:58 yes, its that time of year again. Time to haggle over who deserves to be voted in to the HoF. Here are this years contenders: Roberto Alomar Kevin Appier Harold Baines Bert Blyleven Ellis Burks Andre Dawson Andres Galarraga Pat Hentgen Mike Jackson Eric Karros Ray Lankford Barry Larkin Edgar Martinez Don Mattingly Fred McGriff Mark McGwire Jack Morris Dale Murphy Dave Parker Tim Raines Shane Reynolds David Segui Lee Smith Alan Trammell Robin Ventura Todd Zeile You know the rules. Voters are allowed to select up to 10 names. Candidate need to be named on 75% of ballots. As many of you know, i am allowed each year to cast my votes. However, for some reasons which remain unclear to me, my votes arent actually counted by the tabulators. I'm still working on that. This year, i am voting for: 1. McGwire 2. Blyleven 3. Raines 4. Alomar 5. Parker 6. Lee Smith 7. Larkin 8. Dawson 9. Morris 10. Trammell with my preference being roughly in that order. I consider McGwire as the only no-brainer HoFer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ As an unrelated aside: Do you need a NICE new wristwatch for yourself or that special someone? I can get you a FABULOUS deal on namebrand watches. ROLEX, Seiko, armitron, EVEN casio! I can get all of these and more at LESS than 5% of retail. Dont waste your limited Christmas budget on overpriced mall KNOCKOFFS. My friend Jimmy has a new shipment of watches coming in this weekend and i'll be heading down to the alley in back of Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles to take delivery. PLACE your order now!!!
