Blyleven, Parker, Dawson, Lee Smith and Trammell get my vote...They were
never first ballot HOFERS but HOFERS for sure!

Sorry Larkin is not a first ballot HOFER, if he gets in next year or
after that I have no problem with it... First ballot HOFERS are unique
and special players....

As far as "I don't want to talk about the past" roid boy Mac, I hope he
never gets in!!!!Pipedreams if he gets in this year..

As far as I am concerned their should be two tiers in the HOF
distinguishing the elite FIRST BALLOT HOFERS from the rest of
HOFERS.......

I disagree. There is one level of recognition. You are in the hall of
fame, or you are not in the hall of fame.

FWIW the sportswriters seem to agree with you.

I was kind of strattling who I would vote for and who the writers would

Yeah. In particular I think infielders are very poorly represented in
the HOF. I think guys like Larkin, Alomar and Trammell should be shoo-ins.
