From: nomisnala on 2 Aug 2010 01:52 Bowker could be a legit 25-30 homer guy. He was the best hitter in the PCL in 2009, and his peripherals were good too, not the peripherals of a guy who is only good in triple A, and not in the majors. He had a few disjointed stints in the majors but never a solid block of time. He was a steal, and he is reported as being a good 4th or 5th outfielder but he should be a starter. Martinez has been good at every level in the minors with good control and a good sinker, except it has taken him a while to adjust to each level, but once he does he is good. He has had very little chance with the giants. He should be at this point a viable 4th or 5th starter.
