My guess is that they bring back Gomes and go into the 10 season much the way they came out of the 09 season. Hope for some health and that some of the kids step up. dfs

The reds bullpen is actually pretty full. Cordero/Masset/Rhodes Burton/Herrera/Owings Both Bray and Lincoln seem to have the trust of the front office. That's 8. Plus Viola and Fischer... After Roenekce left AAA they gave the closing job to Logan Andrusek. He did a decent job with it and is on the 40 man roster. That's 11 guys that could pitch more than a little be in the bullpen. Plus I believe Matt Maloney will be out of options and isn't going to crack the starting rotation. Without several deals, it's very hard to see the reds putting stormy back on the roster. dfs |
