From: Dimitrios Paskoudniakis on 2 Jul 2010 17:31 I'm going to see the Kid pitch tomorrow. Coming from Rockville, walking distance from Grosvenor station on the Red Line. Given cost and time considerations, and this is a weekend 4:10 PM game, what are the pluses and minuses of Metro vs Driving and parking? I don't have a parking pass. Metro parking is free. If driving is better, should I look for a lot at the ballpark, or RFK (do they still do that), or other?

Parking sucked for the last Strasburg start, but it was a weekday and some of the area garages weren't selling their spaces. I bought a $5 pass for tomorrow's game, in advance, for lot HH on So. Capitol Street, underneath SE/SW Freeway, just so I don't have to sweat it tomorrow. It's a 10 minute walk from there. It should be pretty easy to drive to the Stadium on a Saturday, parking might be trickier unless you get there early. I've heard good and bad things about taking Metro.

For the future, lot W is pretty good, it is only $10 and it is very easy to get back onto 395. Be careful that you don't ding the Jeep Wrangler. > It should be pretty easy to drive to the Stadium on a Saturday, > parking might be trickier unless you get there early.
