Reddick is not hitting well in Pawtucket (BA .136)......McDonald is
(OPS over 1.000.)

Something else to consider is that McDonald is a right-handed bat.

Correct that he is Portland - but not necessarily less ready - they
can't all be at Triple A - and remember Shea Hillenbrand ( the guy who
killed Rivera ) never played a single game in AAA.

Yup. And all four Ray;s starters for the series are right handed,
which means IF the Sox DL Ellsbury, they would want to call a
left=hand hitting outfielder.
