According to his B-R page, released by the Brewers Apr 4, 1976 after
being signed in January. I assume he just didnt make the cut coming
out of camp that year.

I agreed with that after I looked up his stats. Unbelievable
that he was still around in '75, the greatest year in Reds
history. Bill James has him listed 18th in all time centerfielders.

Good catch. Didn't realize Sean had full transactions
(including release) that far back. But I should know
that Sean ROOOLZ and and checked. Doesn't change the
point. He extended his career as far as possible.

Not that I doubt you Bob, because I don't. But
did he (Larkin) actually spit in Jack's face?

I think I vaguely remember "something" about that
but it somewhat escapes my mind. Just asking.

No.................not literally.

You know the guy that runs that site?

It bothers me that he has so many ads on the pages now. Pop-ups that
happen when you move your mouse around are quite annoying. But I guess
thats the price you pay for the breadth of info he now supplies. He's
got bills to pay.
