That is exactly my feeling also and without any
Cincinnati bias either. I've seen all three play and
IMO Concepcion should make the hall.

I was kind of surprised there haven't been any yanks with 3000 hits.

What's really surprising is how few there are with even 2000.

Berra, Mattingly, Dimagio, Williams, Ruth, Gerhig and Jeter.

Only the last three got over 2500.

Makes another case for Vada Pinson for the Hall of Fame. What was
he, about 200 hits short? In this day and age he could have probably
played another 5 years and made it easily.

Vada's name came up the other day when Phillips went 20-20-20 for the
3rd time. Pinson did it five times.

Of course that is 3000 hits for one team so perhaps a Yankee has had
3000 career hits, just not all for the Yankees.

Of course only one red has more than 2500.

Not many reds have more than 2000.
Bench, McPhee, Concepcion, Larkin and the one with more than 2500.

Only one Red Sox with more than 3000....Yaz.
One Brave....Aaron
One Oriole....Ripken
No Cubs....

It's kind of a fun game.
