The Rose Award goes to Clint Barmes of the Colorado Rockies, who went
two-for-five with three RBI and scored one run in a 9-3 win over the
Pittsburgh Pirates.

Ubaldo Jimenez pitched seven strong innings as the Rockies stopped an
eight-game losing streak. With three teams ahead of them, it's
doubtful the Rockies will win the NL West.
