Interesting stuff - you probably know I like the sac with a man on 1st
but not crazy about doing it to get a runner from 2nd to 3rd. The
advantage of doing it during the regular season is that in the post
season when you really feel the need, you aren't asking a guy to bunt
when he hasn't done it in game conditions all year.

Pawtucket 26 <= For Pawtucket a Sac Bunt is considered a rally.
Portland 16
Salem 36 <= This manager could get fired
Greenville 22

Obviously its not stressed in the minor league.

Neat stats. Thanks.

Jacoby has a pretty good batting average (over .500) when he bunts.
Maybe he should do it more. Or perhaps a few attempted sacrifices
ended up as hits, inflating his "bunt hit" average.
