Next: Count the DLers !!!
From: Steve Robbins on 2 Jul 2010 10:16 How would you like to be in the front office now? Have to get quick fixes due to a lack of bodies. Four weeks to the trading deadline and what are you willing to do? Don't want to give up the farm for a temp replacement. Don't want to get a big time player that won't have a role when someone else gets healthy. The irony? Lowell can play three positions, although a little crippled. Those three are three out of the four where no one has been hurt. So they did DL him, but that could have been more of a phantom thing because they needed roster maneuvering room with all that is happening.

Mike is running out of time for his career. He is well aware. I'd be completely shocked if he would sabotage that by such subterfuge. He needs to show he can still play or he might not even get a job next year.
