Think about it. Look at the so called top teams in baseball. How many
free agents do NY, BOS, LAD, STL,...etc, sign each off season? The
Phillies truely came from the bottom to the top with home grown players.
Every major star on this ball club came up through Philly's AAA, and AA
clubs. Yeah, we signed free agent Halladay this past off season. But
keep in mind that they won the title in '08 without him. I think the
main ingredient in this teams success, besides talent, is that no one on
this team complains or talks trash to the media. GO PHILLIES!!! Oh yeah,
"Hey MLB. When does Philly get the All star game for once"?
