From: John Jones on 21 Apr 2010 01:38 This team needs a shake up. They need to bring in an outfielder with a bona fide bat who you stick at cleanup and don't have to worry about. You have to go back to Kevin Mitchell in Reds history or that magic year with Greg Vaughn for this type of player. Does anybody know who maybe available? I'm thinking of trading Cueto, Stubbs and Phillips to get this big basher. How about that stud outfielder in Arizona?
From: John Jones on 21 Apr 2010 01:41 I think I have seen enough of Drew Stubbs swing to say, let's move on. He should be hitting eighth if he's going to play.

Raise your hand if you believed Manny's PR about his little indiscretion last year. If you believed that whopper, than you have the right to say...Sure I believe Edinson. If you recognize corporate speak misdirection you don't believe ANY of this. dfs

The issue I have is that he apparently didn't consult with anyone to check if it contained a banned substance. That's either naive or stupid. Maybe the Reds should state that they need to be aware of prescriptions that players take. The other thing that I find suspicious is that if he's telling the truth, you'd think that he would contest this decision and state his case. Instead, he's just going to go along with it and lose 100 Gs. |
