Pujols was on David Letterman's talk-show last night.
Tonight, he goes 0-for-5 with a K to end the game.
His BA is now a stunning (for him) .296, the lowest I've seen from him at
the 100-game mark since maybe his 2002 season when he had his *lowest* BA
previously: a good .314 mark.

..296/.401/.553 .954 OPS

His .401 OBP is his 2nd-lowest (.394 in 2002), and his .553 is his absolute
lowest (.561 in 2002).
He looks so confused at the plate these last few games and for much of the
season since the end of April, I don't know what his problem is: an
unreported physical problem and/or mentally messed-up in his strike zone or
swing.
