Kevin,

At two bucks a win, I and a couple other guys here owe $156 (exactly what I
thought it would be back in March when we answered David's survey) to be donated
to the American Cancer Society in remembrance of Darren Steele. I plan to round
it off to $160; I figure I cost us at least two wins by having the unmitigated
audacity to predict that Jay Bruce would put up .275/.323/.460 this year, thus
putting too much pressure on the young man and causing him to instead have a
season only Bill Bergen* could love (.223/.303/.470, and that's with his
..326/.426/.652 September/October).

Anyway, please let me know where to send a money order. The e-mail me the
address on my posts is valid once you remove "spamfilter" and the extra dot from
the domain name.

arguably the worst hitter in baseball history.

Thanks, John. I'm still in, as well. Do we want to make some sort of a
combined effort out of this, or just send in our contributions
individually?
