I havent seen any of his atbats. But based on the announcers, it
sounds like he's leading the league in hitting into tough luck.

That was the case last year, when Bruce had an incredibly bad batting
average on balls in play (BABIP, also known as 'bad luck'). If that's
the case again this year... well, I start to wonder if there's
something he's doing that keeps rocketing liners into outfielders'
gloves.

Here's a look at Bruce's BABIP woes in 2009 and a 2010 projection:

Any reason that you'd go with Comcast over Direct TV? You could have
the MLB Extra innings and a lot more HD right now for probably a
better price.

My internet is bundled up with my cable. I think that I would still
have to retain my basic cable package even if I went to DirectTV, and
I just can't justify the added expense of two bills.

High speed internet makes working at home possible for me, and
getting to do that while my 3 and 5 year old play downstairs is
paramount to me so the cable is more important to me than the mlb
package.

Besides, other than the lack of the MLB package , I'm really happy
with Comcast, especially the huge OnDemand libraries that are
available. Between that and the DVR, I don't really watch much of
anything in real time anymore.

Truth be told, I don't watch much tv anyway these days, beyond college
basketball. And the kid's channels are all available, so no
complaints. Would be nice to see a few reds games, but the xm is fine
for me, especially as I can put my heafdphones on and be outside the
entire time.
