One positive about this game: the late inning drama has taken the
focus off yet another lousy start from Homer Bailey :) I read
somewhere that all six of the Reds' wins this season have come with
runs scored in their last at-bat. Here's hoping one of the starters
gets a big lead and nails it down soon.

I wouldn't call it a lousy start. Some lousy bookends for sure but
he must have pitched pretty good from the 2nd through 5th.

He allowed 8 hits and 3 walks in 5.1 innings - that's two baserunners
per inning, which is completely awful. Bailey puts more runners on
than Harang does. It's also the third time this year he's thrown
over 100 pitches but failed to make it out of the 6th. Not good.
