My bet is that whole shin guard thing was set up before the game even
started because the Cardinals tore the Reds a new one last night. The guy
is reprehensible.

With his managing history (Cubs, Giants) against TLR, the former
Cards on the team, and now rise to respectability, the Reds can quickly
claim superiority in the best rivalry with the Birds, supplanting the tired,

The shinguard thing happens every game with every team. Nothing new.
Dumb on Phillips part to expect that it would be welcome last night
though.
