From: The old geezer on 9 Aug 2010 10:33 Honestly, I'd forgotten all about him! I see that he picked up where he left off! Why start him again? Let him do some "mop -up" in the BP to see what he can do instead of having him start & put the Nats at a 5 run disadvantage by the end of the 1st inning! The kids (pitching) have been doing O.K. considering...... TOG

I think he'll go back on it in a day or two. Yesterday he tapped his chest and shoulder strangely and then hit the next batter. He was then quickly yanked. IMO he's still hurt. 0-4 and hasn't been able to pitch out of the 5th inning yet this season. -- FSogol

He has a couple of amazing stats this season: Before he got that first out yesterday, 16 consecutive batters had reached base, and 12 consecutive batters had scored! His ERA was so high going into the game, that it went down after that 4-run first inning, because 3 of those runs were unearned due to his own error.
