After losing 2 - zip to Dodgers, more meaningless words from Manuel:

"We still aren't able to put anything together," manager Jerry Manuel
said. "We've got to eventually turn this thing around. We're not doing
ourselves any good by playing close games and losing them. Somebody's
got to find a way to get hot and carry us for a minute."

Why the hell can't this team hit ? 5 singles last night against the
Dodgers, pa-thetic.....

Yeah, back in the late 70s when Yanks were winning championships,
billy martin wasn't above yelling, stomping, and busting up clubhouse
tables. The Meeks need someone like NOW !
