Already his injuries starting up again. He had shoulder surgery on
his bad shoulder, to follow-up
that knee surgery he had. This could be another Bonds knee surgery
case, or Lowry surgery deal.
We may never see this guy play for the giants again. Of course he
could be ready by Income tax
day, and all good go nicely. Some guys when it comes to wearing
giants uniforms are just jinxed.
Its that darn move from the Polo Grounds again rearing its ugly head.

Why couldn't he have had this done at the end of last season so that
he'd be ready for spring training?

Surely, you jest.

The Giants are in *big* trouble if Fred Lewis is their best option for
batting lead-off and playing Left Field.

The Giants are in big trouble regardless.

Our best leadoff hitter may be Rowand. As an experiment, I say put him back
there to start the season. He's got no power anyway, and the change in mindset
seemed to do him good last year.
