Not that I think he would deserve it, but nobody really deserves it.
If the Red Sox can overcom this disasterous stretch of injuries and
win the division, I think the writers would vote for him. Therefore, I
hope he gets it.

So far all the guys called up and used have contributed greatly,
except Reddick. McDonald have been a very good backup and a decent
starter. Nava has cooled off, but overall he is still very good. His
slump has coincided with the move to 2nd in the batting order. I
really don't think it should matter at all where a player bats, but
perhaps he is putting too much pressure on himself. Drop him back to
the lower 3rd of the order.

After a terrible 2009 season following a bad 2008 season and a
terrible start for 2010 Bill Hall has been a very useful player. With
the giant loss of the little guy Pedroia, it behooves Hall to be a
solid contributer in Pedroia's absence. they also need a hot streak
from JD Drew and they need him in the lineup every day. A stretch of
good starts from Lackey and Matsuzaka would be a big help. Beltre
needs to keep hitting and aviod the massive number of GIDPs he has had
of late.

They are probably better off in the long run by putting V mart on the
DL. Batting with the left thumb bandaged up might mess up his swing.
Also he could hurt it worse and be out for a long time. They need to
take their chances without him for 15 days. (If he plays tonight and
hits 2 homeruns, nevermind)!

A six week return to peak form from Cameron would be super. I don't
think he is capable of a big season anymore, but he could have a big 4
to 6 weeks. Say 6-8 home runs now that he finally hit one.

It is not likely that ALL of these things will happen. They need most
of them to keep pace.

Ideally the Red Sox would win another WS and then Francona would
retire.

Either that or I want him to share his new meds.

yeah its "ideal" to get rid of the only manager since 1918 to win the WS for
the Sox and replace him with someone who has never won it.
