From: Tom Benton on 12 Jun 2010 06:45 they don't look good. They have an eight run lead and give up hits, walks and play sloppy defense that lets the Flubs back in the game.

On Sunday, after a fine starting performance by Gavin Floyd (finally) the Sox could have at least tied the game if they went into the batters box without bats in their hands. However they get a lead-off hit, a walk and a gift balk by the Cubbie closer and yet they still can't manage to get a run home. So much for the offense looking good. The Sox get a chance to hopefully look alive against the Pirates. It would be easy to look at the Pirates as a team that can be easily beaten but ask the Cubbies how that has worked out for them. Then it's a series against the Nationals, with phenom Strasburg starting against the Sox. Wonder if Strasburg will break a strike-out record when he faces the Sox?

Strasburg may have his best game yet facing these lousy bats.
