Catching position Nobody would have believed the production the Reds have gotten out of the catching position to date this year. It has been beyond anybody's wildest expectations. How about some love for Cueto? Thought somebody would've mentioned it. One hit, one HBP and only faced 28 batters. Deepest he's ever been in a game, and the best the reds have seen since John Smiley's one hitter over a decade ago. The beautiful, and absolutely unexpected part? 103 pitches and no BB! Angel Pagan Angel Pagan may come available a month from now when Carlos Beltran returns to the Mets. The Reds should seriously look into obtaining this guy. He does all the little things and might come relatively cheaply. Especially if he is going to be relegated to bench duties with Beltran back. ... 11 May 2010 00:21
