I am at a loss on how to word it in Google to research it myself.
And not only that, it's not easy for me to describe it here. <G>

When watching a game on TV, while a batter is at the plate, and after
a pitch has been made, they show a rectangle showing where the pitch
to him was and I want to know.....who says that is where the zone is
and do we really know that this is accurate?

Is that zone adjusted for each and every batter and who does it?

Why have I never EVER heard this be explained? Or why haven't I heard
anyone question it before (that would be by the son-in-law this
morning who happens to question EVERYTHING --he being a Packer and
Badger fan, don't ya know)

Just curious. AnnE

Good question. Here's all you need to know about the strike zone.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strike_zone

The tough part about the strike zone is that each umpire uses their
best judgement to determine where it is (or isn't).

Ha, SS, I already read that firstoff. That's not what I'm asking.

I vhant to learn how that rectangle they use on TV works. Maybe I
need to go to Fox and ask them. FSN, that is.

My goodness, SS....that was written in 2007. I would hope that they
have perfected the technology somewhat since then. <G>

I will check with FSN website to see what I can find.

AnnE Go TWINS keep on a winning. It's much more fun!
