Started the month hitting .239 and finished it hitting .236. In 2007 with the Reds, he had a whopping four dingers in September and two of them were in the same game against the Cardinals on Sept. 11. In 2006 he had two homers for all of September, started the month hitting .245 and finished it hitting .234. Oh, by the way, according to the game logs on Baseball Reference, Dunn's homer on Thursday night against the Phillies was his first extra-base hit this month. JK
