That same bunch was talking about canning Girardi earlier in the year
when they were getting swept by the bosox and it looked like they were
getting left behind.

It's only happy because their offseason wallet added the top
positional free agent, and the top two FA pitchers, and for the first
time in a long time, they actually performed up to those contracts.

Give the reds the performances of Texeira, Sabathia, and Burnett in
a single offseason and I bet we'd be a rosier bunch as well.
